I am writing to express my knowledge of Michael Biss’ technical prowess. I have been working in systems development and management for the last 10 years, including projects involving small and large scale hardware and software deployments. I have known Michael since he was 12, and witnessed his early entry into computers. He set up his own enterprise that successfully constructed, sold and supported individual computer systems and small networks for a variety of customers in the Lower Mainland. He has deployed systems running both Windows and UNIX operating systems. He even had his company Web site up long before Web pages became common. My confidence in his skills is such that I would not hesitate to purchase a system that he had built and tested for my personal or professional use.

I have been on the Internet for over a decade but I first started with the dialup bulletin board systems messagomg with Fidonet then usenet. As a teenager I had my own computer business for a few years supplying allot of people with computers that I designed and built myself dealing with the provinces largest wholesalers plus I have flown to germany, florida, france, etc. and went to see the largest computer convention in the world known as Comdex in las vegas which was a very educational event with input on new products and the chance to deal directly with the manufacturers.
